Picture-making has been a passion of mine since my parents bought me an Agfa Optima 335 camera for my eighth birthday.
I loved that little camera more than anything, and it sparked something inside me that still burns brightly today.
Long before the ubiquity of the modern digital camera, I was the one snapping away, making pictures of trees and landscapes, friends and family at parties, at home in Dorset, and abroad. The piles of shoeboxes stuffed with negatives are the priceless relics of my youth.
After 15 years working for some of London's largest advertising agencies, I finally took the plunge and became the full-time photographer I had longed to be.
Nearly 20 years on, I am a freelance commercial, corporate, social and editorial photographer based in London, recently shortlisted for Portrait Photographer of the Year by Digital Photographer magazine.
I am blessed to have been helped and guided along the way by a number of inspiring friends and mentors, my loving family and a series of generous and supportive clients.
Using my skill, creativity and courteousness I do my utmost to create compelling and memorable images for my clients, every time, with minimum fuss.
I am busier, happier and more fulfilled than at any time in my life, constantly learning and honing new skills, exploring fresh avenues for artistic expression with this extraordinary medium.
